Violet Colour Therapy And Its Effects

By

Alex Tyson

Colour therapy has been used for many centuries by healers from many different cultures. Colour therapy uses light frequencies (that present as colours we can see) to create a positive effect on human neurohormonal pathways. Each light frequency (or colour) has a specific vibration that can be related to different physical symptoms. This is because certain light-sensitive parts of the brain respond differently to different frequencies/colours.

When you combine two colours (known as polychromatic light therapy) you can receive the benefits of each colour as well as the combined colour. Violet colour therapy offers the benefits of both red & blue colour therapy as well as benefits related specifically to violet colour therapy. Below we list the benefits of violet colour therapy for improving your cognitive ability and physical wellbeing.

Violet Colour Therapy And Our Infrared Saunas

Whilst our infrared saunas bring many benefits including reduced pain & stress, better sleep & muscle recovery and improved weight & energy, we know that near-infrared (NIR) light can also provide deeper light penetration – making colour therapy more effective. Because of this and the fact we’re super passionate about our customers’ health & wellbeing, we’ve added the option to include colour therapy lighting to our Outdoor Barrel sauna, our Full Spectrum sauna range and our Premium range.
