‘Normalising Female Pleasure’ with Viv Conway & Jo Cummins (Girls Get Off)

By: Tabitha Perrett

“We realised there are so many people comfortable talking about sex and stuff, and we wanted to find a way to do that to the masses, in a really tasteful way, by using our humour to make it fun, and ease people into the conversation.

Podcast Interview: Viv Conway & Jo Cummins (Girls Get Off)

In this episode, Found—Space CEO Alex Tyson is joined by the two brains behind Girls Get Off, Viv and Jo. Girls Get Off is a female sex toy brand, aimed at normalising female pleasure.

GIRLS GET OFF are on a mission to empower women in all things pleasurable, removing the stigma or taboo that comes with talking about, and making the most of, getting off. We’re all about riding that O Train and helping other women to do it too, minus the seedy sex shops that seem to be designed with only men’s pleasure in mind. We believe the shame needs to be taken out of female masturbation and that there’s no greater awakening than getting to know yourself inside and out because getting off is one of life’s greatest joys.

In this episode they talk about:

  • Normalising female pleasure
  • What’s involved in developing sex toys
  • Creating a brand that listens to its customers’ wants and needs
  • How to get started with sex toys
