iHealth Sauna & Cold Shower In Winter!

By: Alex Tyson

Hi Guys,

After recommending cold showers to many of you throughout this winter, I decided I needed to make a video showing that it can be done. No Pain No Gain!

A cold shower after a sauna session provides amazing health benefits. The drastic change in temperature creates thermogenesis in our brown fat stores which may help us assimilate fat better. The cold water also draws all of our blood back to our core to protect the vital organs. Once we then hop out of the cold, the increased blood flow back to the extremities helps with muscle repair and lactic acid reduction and brings with it a rush of fresh oxygen too. This helps those with poor circulation too. Yes, a cold shower is good for circulation, not bad!

The hot to cold also kills off any cells that are not performing correctly or with damaged DNA.

Whether it is winter time or not, i urge you to give a cold shower a go. You won’t regret it and your body will thank you.
